George Soros explicitly declares his involvement in the collapse of the USSR and an attempt to repeat the same thing in Russia.
Soros: "My first project... although the first was in South Africa... but then Eastern Europe and the USSR. As the Soviet empire collapsed, I moved in and picked up the pieces. First in Hungary in 1984, in Poland and China in 1987. So the Soros empire replaced the Soviet empire."
Host: What are your plans?
Soros: "Now I am most involved in Russia. We repeat what happened in the USSR. But, unfortunately, there is a big difference. When the Union was collapsed, Europe was experiencing its high integration. Now reverse, we have resurgent Russia, and the disintegrated Europe. Sad situation."
The interview was taken in 2015.
The US has spent billions of dollars in Ukraine since 1990 demonizing Russia (some of which was through school books) so they could eventually use Ukraine as a proxy against Russia.
“Many people roll their eyes when they hear "George Soros" and think of conspiracy theories. But Soros' own group - IRF or International Renaissance Foundation - admits in its 2015 annual report that it spent more than $180 MILLION in Ukraine since 1990.”
George Soros moved from pathetic words about "protecting the will of the people" and "saving democracy" to harsh statements like the following: "We need Ukraine as a torpedo in the war with Russia. The fate of the citizens of this country does not concern us at all."
“In 2015, Russian scientists received $500 grants (two years’ salary) to rewrite history books and school curricula. At the time, Soros stated that it would take about 25 years, i.e. a generation, to create a project as successful as Ukraine. In addition to distorting the history of Russian-Ukrainian relations and denigrating the past and present of the Russian state, the foundation has successfully promoted “European values and democracy” among young people.”
15 September 2019 Ukraine, once again, offered to rewrite textbooks. This time it is proposed to remove from them all references to friendship with Russia. The Minister of Education of Ukraine Anna Novosad made a corresponding proposal during a speech in Kiev at the Yalta European Strategy forum.
The private polling company, "Kiev institute of sociology" which Western media quotes as source of Zelenskys "57%" popularity, is owned and operated by a Zelensky ally and State employee (at the National Univeristy of Kiev) Volodymyr Paniotto
It's also indirectly funded by USAID, NED and Soros foundation
"The Kiev institute" counts German State media, @dwnews, Radio Free Europe, the OSCE and other EU and US Ngo funded media as "Clients"
The actual question asked of 2,000 Ukrainians living in a police state, bereft of elections, with citizens being dragged off the streets by Zelenskys governemnt was
"Do you support President Zelensky"
The respondents were called personally on their mobile phones by the "institute"
The owner and President of the "Institute" Volodymyr Paniotto is a dedicated supporter of Zelensky and the Euro Maidan movement behind the illegal Coup in 2014, he regularly writes for publications like "Global Dialogue"
Guess who funds "Charity" Global Dialouge?
Klaus Schwab
National endowmwnt for Democracy (CIA)
And Soros' Open Democracy.
The "Independent" Kiev institute also supplies services to pro Zelensky media and radio, pro Zelensky personalities and channels
The entire "Institute" being quoted in Western media, some of whom directly fund them, is deeply ingrained into the Zelensky Government and his personally owned channels.
“This brief summarizes a report that comprehensively examines nonviolent, cost-imposing options that the United States and its allies could pursue across economic, political, and military areas to stress—overextend and unbalance—Russia’s economy and armed forces and the regime's political standing at home and abroad. Some of the options examined are clearly more promising than others, but any would need to be evaluated in terms of the overall U.S. strategy for dealing with Russia, which neither the report nor this brief has attempted to do.”

According to the news agency "Vesti", US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland was forced to admit that after the collapse of the USSR, Washington spent $5 billion to “support the Ukrainian people’s aspirations for a stronger, democratic government.”
“The US has invested about 5 billions of dollars in Ukraine since 1991, since it became an independent state again after the collapse of the Soviet Union. This money was spent on supporting the aspirations of the Ukrainian people who want to have a strong, democratic government that represents their interests," said the politician on the American television channel CNN.
“Much of what has happened, of course, was predictable and indeed was predicted, but neocon Nuland couldn’t resist the temptation to pull off a “regime change” that she could call her own.
Her husband (and arch-neocon) Robert Kagan had co-founded the Project for the New American Century in 1998 around a demand for “regime change” in Iraq, a project that was accomplished in 2003 with President George W. Bush’s invasion.
As with Nuland in Ukraine, Kagan and his fellow neocons thought they could engineer an easy invasion of Iraq, oust Saddam Hussein and install some hand-picked client in Iraq, Ahmed Chalabi was to be “the guy.” But they failed to take into account the harsh realities of Iraq, such as the fissures between Sunnis and Shiites, exposed by the U.S.-led invasion and occupation.
In Ukraine, Nuland and her neocon and liberal-interventionist friends saw the chance to poke Putin in the eye by encouraging violent protests to overthrow Russia-friendly President Yanukovych and put in place a new regime hostile to Moscow.
Carl Gershman, the neocon president of the U.S.-taxpayer-funded National Endowment for Democracy, explained the plan in a Post op-ed on Sept. 26, 2013. Gershman called Ukraine “the biggest prize” and an important interim step toward toppling Putin, who “may find himself on the losing end not just in the near abroad but within Russia itself.”
For her part, Nuland passed out cookies to anti-Yanukovych demonstrators at the Maidan square, reminded Ukrainian business leaders that the U.S. had invested $5 billion in their “European aspirations,” declared “fuck the EU” for its less aggressive approach, and discussed with U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt who the new leaders of Ukraine should be. “Yats is the guy,” she said, referring to Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
Nuland saw her big chance on Feb. 20, 2014, when a mysterious sniper apparently firing from a building controlled by the Right Sektor shot and killed both police and protesters, escalating the crisis. On Feb. 21, in a desperate bid to avert more violence, Yanukovych agreed to a European-guaranteed plan in which he accepted reduced powers and called for early elections so he could be voted out of office.
But that wasn’t enough for the anti-Yanukovych forces who led by Right Sektor and neo-Nazi militias overran government buildings on Feb. 22, forcing Yanukovych and many of his officials to flee for their lives. With armed thugs patrolling the corridors of power, the final path to “regime change” was clear.
Instead of trying to salvage the Feb. 21 agreement, Nuland and European officials arranged for an unconstitutional procedure to strip Yanukovych of the presidency and declared the new regime “legitimate.” Nuland’s “guy” Yatsenyuk became prime minister.
While Nuland and her neocon cohorts celebrated, their “regime change” prompted an obvious reaction from Putin, who recognized the strategic threat that this hostile new regime posed to the historic Russian naval base at Sevastopol in Crimea. On Feb. 23, he began to take steps to protect those Russian interests.”
“During the 1990’s, Nuland worked for the State Department on Russia related issues including a stint as deputy director for former Soviet Union affairs. The US meddled in Russian internal affairs in myriad ways. Time magazine proudly proclaimed "Yanks to the rescue: the secret story of how American advisors helped Yeltsin win." The Yeltsin leadership and policies pushed by the US had disastrous consequences. Between 1991 and 1999, Russian Gross Domestic Product decreased by nearly 50 percent as the social safety net was removed. The Russian economy collapsed, oligarchs and lawlessness arose. Nuland was part of the US group meddling in Russia, deploying economic "shock therapy" and causing widespread social despair.
In September 2013 Victoria Nuland was appointed Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs. The uprising in the central plaza known as the Maidan began soon after her arrival. To underscore the US support for the protests, Nuland and Senator John McCain passed out bread and cookies to the crowd.
Protests continued into January 2014. The immediate issue was whether to accept a loan from the EU/International Monetary Fund which was going to require a 40 percent increase in natural gas bills or to accept a loan from Russia with the inclusion of cheap oil and gas. The opposition wanted the Yanukovych government to take the EU/IMF loan. The opposition was comprised of different factions, including the neo-Nazi Svoboda Party and Right Sector.
In early February 2014, an audio recording of Victoria Nuland talking to the US Ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt, was leaked to the public. The 4-minute conversation was a media sensation because it included Victoria Nuland saying, "Fu*k the EU.".
But Nuland’s cursing was a distraction from what was truly significant. The recording showed that Nuland was meddling in domestic Ukraine affairs, had direct contacts with key opposition leaders, and was managing the protests to the extent she was deciding who would and would not be in the post-coup government! She says, "I don’t think Klitsch [Vitaly Klitschko] should go into government… I think Yats [Arseniy Yatseniuk] is the guy… "
The reason she wanted to "Fu*k the EU" was because she did not approve the EU negotiations and compromise. Nuland and Pyatt wanted to "midwife" and "glue" the toppling of the Yanukovych government despite it being in power after an election that was observed and substantially approved by the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe).
Over the next few weeks, the protests escalated. The President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kiev, Bernard Casey, described what happened next. "On February 18-20, snipers massacred about 100 people [both protesters and police] on the Maidan …. Although the US Ambassador and the opposition blamed the Yanukovych Administration, the evidence points to the shots coming from a hotel controlled by the ultranationalists, and the ballistics revealed that the protesters and the police were all shot with the same weapons."
The Estonian Foreign Minister later said the same thing: "behind the snipers it was not Yanukovych, but it was somebody from the new (opposition) coalition".
President of the American Chamber of Commerce President for Ukraine, Bernard Casey, continues: "On February 20, 2014 an EU delegation moderated negotiations between President Yanukovych and the protesters, agreeing to early elections – in May 2014 instead of February 2015…. Despite the signing of an agreement … the ultranationalist protesters, and their American sponsors, rejected it, and stepped up their campaign of violence."
The coup was finalized over the coming days. Yanukovych fled to for his life and Yatsenyuk became President after the coup as planned.
One of the first acts of the coup leadership was to remove Russian as an official state language, even though it is the first language of millions of Ukrainians, especially in the south and east. Over the coming period, the "birth" of the coup government, violence by ultranationalists and neo-Nazis was prevalent. In Odessa, they attacked people peacefully protesting the coup. This video shows the sequence of events with the initial attack followed by fire-bombing the building where protesters had retreated. Fire trucks were prevented from reaching the building to put out the fire and rescue citizens inside. Forty-two people died and a 100 were injured.
A bus convoy heading back to Crimea was attacked with the anti-coup passengers beaten and some killed.
In the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine, protests against the coup were met by deadly force.
Victoria Nuland claims to be a "victim" because her conversation was leaked publicly. The real victims are the many thousands of Ukrainians who have died and hundreds of thousands who have become refugees because of Nuland’s crusade to bring Ukraine into NATO.
The audio recording confirms that Nuland was managing the protests at a top level and the results ("Yats is the guy") was as planned.”
"Russia and Ukraine began peace negotiations four days after their war started in February of 2022, and basically had a peace agreement worked out by April 15, 2022, until Boris Johnson, the prime minister of Great Britain, and Neocons in our own State Department, principally Victoria Nuland, urged Ukraine not to sign."
